Dr. Timothy Perozek is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in advanced cataract surgery and premium lens technology. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Perozek has dedicated his career to helping patients achieve clearer vision through personalized surgical care and innovative vision correction options.

In 2007, Dr. Perozek founded SEE RIGHT NOW in Las Vegas, Nevada. Throughout his career, he has become recognized for his expertise in premium multifocal lens technology, helping many cataract patients reduce their dependence on glasses after surgery. His commitment to detailed surgical planning and precision has contributed to consistently excellent patient outcomes and a reputation for maintaining one of the lowest complication rates in the region.

Dr. Perozek has been consistently recognized as a Las Vegas “Top Doc” throughout his years of practice, reflecting his dedication to patient care, surgical excellence, and contributions to the ophthalmology community.

Dr. Perozek completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center/Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute, where he served as Chief Ophthalmology Resident during his final year. He completed his internship at Health One Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toledo Medical College of Ohio after completing his undergraduate studies in Philosophy and Pre-Med at the University of Notre Dame.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Perozek has been actively involved in ophthalmic education and community outreach. He has served as a featured speaker for organizations throughout Las Vegas, including Sun City, Siena, and H2U. He has presented educational lectures on topics including the history and future of refractive surgery and theories of accommodation.

His academic background includes research in retinal and lens development, studying the role of the Chx10 gene transcription factor under the direction of Mark Hankin, Ph.D. at the Medical College of Ohio. Dr. Perozek has also contributed to published ophthalmic research, including work related to LASIK, myopia, and ocular development.

A proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Perozek has remained connected to the university community, serving as a keynote speaker for donor events and being featured in the university’s historic “Generations” fundraising campaign.

Dr. Perozek has received numerous honors and awards recognizing his academic achievements and commitment to ophthalmology, including the Bob and Lu Oberhouse Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology, Northwestern Ohio Lions Eye Care Foundation recognition, and multiple academic scholarships and achievement awards.
